Mailing Service Information IMPORTANT NCOA NEWS FOR ALL MAILERS! PLEASE CLICK HERE! FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE: USPS Quick Service Guides - Effective September 8, 2009 NEW! Intelligent Barcodes are HERE! The Post Office has not made them mandatory YET, but plan ahead now! Get information for obtaining a MID (Mailer ID) with the Post Office. Click here for detailed instructions.
If you are a non-profit organization, you can use a Non-Profit indicia*. By emailing or sending us your mailing list in an Excel spreadsheet (with city, state and zip codes in separate columns), we can barcode your piece for labels, mail merges or direct imprinting onto your mailing which is then sorted, put in trays according to Postal regulations and sent directly to the Post Office for you - saving you time and money. If your list comes in as a Word document in label format, we would have to take time to convert it, and this can add to the cost of your mailing service. Please set up all mailing lists through Microsoft Office's Excel. We barcode your mailing list using the latest technology to insure your project gets where it is supposed to go the quickest way with all the necessary paperwork. Not sure of the zip codes? Leave the zip code off your mailing list spreadsheet and we can have our mailing program Zip+4 it for you. We can even save this information after it is done, and email the updated list with the zips back to you. Notice to designers: Flats, which include catalog envelopes and magazines, are changing formats, so please check out the new Postal regulations USPS Poster 182 or for more clarification check out this presentation "New Address Standards for Commercial Flat Size Mail". If you have any questions about setting up your mailing list spreadsheet, please feel free to click on this link to pull down a continuous header list template done for Excel. This Excel template's header line follows down the page so you will always know what goes in what column. Simply go to the first empty cell, type, tab and continue to the end of the address and hit the ENTER key to return to the next line. Remember to save your document frequently to ensure the imputed information is not lost if your computer goes down or the power fails!
